Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, the doctors at Oral Facial Surgery Center in Houma, Thibodaux and Morgan City, LA manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Drs. Saal and Baughman practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer to cosmetic facial surgery to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. They can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of dental implant procedures including bone grafting.

Drs. Saal and Baughman's staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Oral Facial Surgery Center are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery.  All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
